J. S. Bach – St Matthew Passion

Bach's setting of St Matthew's account of the Passion of Christ features two choruses and two orchestras. The singers and players of the Collective will include eight vocal soloists: Anna Crookes & Annamarie Newton sopranos, Daniel Townley & Merel-Magali Cox altos, Joseph Martin & Sam Rose tenors and Thorvald Blough and Joseph Murphy basses, who will be joined by Oscar Bowen-Hill as Evangelist and James Connolly as Christus.

The performance will be given in a liturgical context and admission will be by ticket only (for which there is no charge). Tickets will be available from 21 February online at www.eventbrite.co.uk (on the home page search for St Matthew Passion or by date). Any unallocated tickets will be available at the door.
