J. S. Bach -  Cantata 146 'Wir mussen durch viel Trubsal in das Reich Gottes eingehen' (We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God)

Choral Evensong and Cantata: The gospel of the day is a reminder of the commandments and of man's difficulty in achieving heaven. The cantata has a prominant part for the organ in the opening sinfonia, and the four soloists are drawn from the chorus.
