J. S. Bach -  Cantata 115 'Mach dich, mein Geist bereit (Make yourself ready, my spirit)

A cantata which dwells on the soul's need to prepare itself for the coming of the Lord by keeping watch and praying. An expressive soprano solo with flute and cello obbligato is a highpoint of the music. The ensemble also includes an oboe d'amore, four vocal solists and the usual chorus, string and organ.
