J. S. Bach - Cantata 159 'Sehet, hir gehen hinauf gen Jerusalem'  (Look, we are going to Jerusalem)

Choral Evensong and Cantata. The cantata tells of the Christian soul's reaction to Christ's forecast to his disciples about his looming final journety to Jerusalem, where he will meet his death by crucifision. There are four vocal soloists, but Bach does not include a part for chorus in this cantata. The soloists are joined by oboe, string and organ.
